WHAT IS NCS
Founded in 1978, the NIGERIA COMPUTER SOCIETY (NCS) is the umbrella organization for all information technology professionals, interest group and stakeholders in Nigeria. The society includes association such as:

Information technology association of Nigeria(ITAN)
Institute software practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON)
National association of computer science student(NACOSS)

NCS has over ten thousand professional members across the country and over the one hundred and fifty thousand student members in the higher institutions universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and other accredited training centers in Nigeria.

Our mission is the advancement of computer science, information technology and systems and their application/deployment as solutions and business enablers to all industry practices of human endeavor. It seeks to confer valuable professional advantages and privilege, impose professional responsibilities on its members and encourage them to support work, which is important to the general community and profession at large.
NCS empowers its members to be more productive and successful in their business and career by delivering education, sharing best practices and providing information technology direction and networking.
